What I do

Extenders and mesh kits don’t always fix the real problem. I’ve worked through Wi-Fi problems in homes and busy buildings, and the cause is often something you can’t see.

Signs your Wi-Fi needs a closer look

  • Weak signal or dead spots in some rooms
  • Calls, video or games that drop or freeze
  • Extenders or mesh units that didn’t fix it
  • Equipment from different brands that doesn’t work well together
  • Slow speeds even though you pay for fast internet

How I help

  1. Check what you have.

I look at your internet connection, your equipment and the signal in each area.

  2. Find the cause.

I find the bottleneck or the setting that’s causing trouble.

  3. Fix it, or plan and quote it.

Sometimes it’s a setting. If new equipment would help, I quote it first, then set it up and test it with you.

Common fixes are running a network cable where it’s needed, putting access points in better spots, or setting up equipment to work together. UniFi is one system I install, but not every home or business needs new hardware.

I can’t promise a certain speed or perfect coverage everywhere. Your internet plan, walls and distance all play a part. I’ll tell you what to expect before you decide.

Pricing

Checking and fixing Wi-Fi at your place is a standard on-site visit. Installing a new business system is a project, quoted first.

  • Standard on-site visit

$160 includes up to 2 hours

I come to your home or business. After two hours, extra time is $60 an hour. Homes and businesses pay the same visit rates.

  • Business projects

    $75 per hour

Planned work, like new Wi-Fi, cameras or a firewall, with its own plan and quote. Getting equipment ready at my office may add a quoted setup charge. Advanced projects are quoted separately.

Common questions

Do I need new equipment?

Not always. Sometimes moving equipment or changing settings is enough. If new equipment would help, I’ll explain why and quote it first.

Do you only install UniFi?

No. UniFi is one system I install. I recommend what fits your home or business.

Can you promise faster speeds?

No one can promise that. Your internet plan, walls and distance all matter. I’ll tell you what to expect before you decide.

Is it my Wi-Fi or my computer?

If other devices connect fine, the computer may be the problem, and a drop-off repair may fix it. Mention this in your request.

Want steadier Wi-Fi?
